Spring Time

Spring is finally here!
Good news from Drummond Cycles – the snow is melting, local towns are tuning up their street sweepers, and best of all, the sun is setting past 7:00. All sure signs of spring, and signs it’s time to get the bikes back out on the road.
Training Tips
At this time of year we start fielding a lot of questions about training. Maybe you’ve maintained a level of fitness through wintertime activities such as skiing or snowboarding. Maybe you’ve been Zwifting or suffering on Sufferfest and you’re ready for some fresh air instead of the stand fan. Or maybe you’ve put more time into perfecting your couch-sitting technique. Even if that’s the case it’s not too late to get your season off to a good start. As cycling coach Adnan Kadir puts it, your fitness is like a house and now is the time to put in the foundation if you haven’t already. Read Adnan’s Spring Training Tips here: Spring Training Tips
We’re excited to announce the first ever Cannondale Overland Workshop at Drummond Cycles on Sunday May 20th. Both adventure ride and workshop, this event is intended to introduce gravel riders to the techniques that will take their riding to the next level. With support from Cannondale ambassador athletes, participants will have the opportunity to practice skills on gravel roads and trails in and around DCC’s home town of Enfield. Demos ( including the SuperX and the Slate!) from Cannondale will be on hand. Celebrate post-ride at Drummond Cycles with local craft beer and top notch nosh. The Ranger
This 32 mile ride tucked away in the hills of Tunbridge, Vermont, is an absolute gem. It’s arguably one of our favorite events all season. It supports Alliance for Vermont Communities with a mission of sustainable development in Vermont. We’ll be there on June 10th in force and hope you will be to! Food, music and Upper Pass Beer nectar to follow the ride. Register here:https://www.bikereg.com/the-ranger
